Using Visual Studio Android Emulator

#1

I have had problems with the Android SDK Emulator so I decided to use the Visual Studio Android Emulator.

I used the steps at this article to get the VSAE connected:

I verified that the VSAE was connected:
C:\Users\Henry\shzen\shzenapp>tns devices

I created a new App.

But when I try to run the App I get the following:
C:\Users\Henry\shzen\shzenapp>tns run android --device=169.254.138.177:5555 --sync-all-files

What is wrong here?

I am getting very frustrated and considering using something other than NativeScript.

Any Suggestions?
