Unable to livesync and build on device

ios

#1

Hi, I am new to the NativeScript world and I wanted to try out Sidekick, because it looks like the perfect setup for me. However, I am unable to run the build on my connected device, and I am not sure why. I have gone through the docs, and followed every step with the code signing for IOS apps etc. It should work.

Do you know what could be the problem ? It is complaining about the certificate, but I have followed the guide step by step, so that should be fine.

Try registering your device for development

https://docs.nativescript.org/sidekick/user-guide/code-signing/code-signing-for-ios/register-devices

Also did you create a development profile?

https://docs.nativescript.org/sidekick/user-guide/code-signing/code-signing-for-ios/create-development-provisioning

It was just me being stupid and I did not choose my signed certificate with password in the “manage IOS provisining and Certificates” option for my iphone. Now it works.

Thanks for taking your time to help me. Appreciate it.
