Data is a huge topic when it comes to mobile development or any other type of development. People often go into it with the assumption that SQLite is fine and that they won’t ever need to sync with a remote data source.
When data synchronization is necessary, it is a tough concept with a lot of edge cases. There are many solutions available, but one that works particularly well with NativeScript is Couchbase which is open source and NoSQL.
I wrote a tutorial, which is part three of three in a series, that demonstrates how to sync data between devices and platforms with minimal effort.
In the above example you can create a profile for either Android or iOS and it will be synchronized almost immediately to the other device.
All three tutorials can be found here:
They will introduce you to NoSQL on mobile and make your data life easier in NativeScript Angular applications.
