I am facing an error when uploading a new version of my app on the Play
Store, whereas I have already successfully released previous version of
my app before.
Here is the error : You uploaded an APK with an invalid signature
(learn more about signing). Error from apksigner: ERROR (Jar signer
CERT.RSA): No APK Signature Scheme v2 signature from this signer ERROR
(APK Signature Scheme v2 signer #0): No JAR signature from this signer.
I am sure that my relase key is the right one, because this is the
one that I used to publish previous version. This issue is similar to #924
but this thread has not helped me fixing this issue. I havent changed
my Android Manifest since my last release except the
Following is how I am generating signed apk:
tns build android --release --key-store-path myApp.keystore
–key-store-password myPassword --key-store-alias myAlias
–key-store-alias-password myPassword --copy-to myAppp.apk
The app was made with NativeScript 3.4 Vanilla.
For Non Nativescript Android applications Android Studio gives you
option to select both V1 and V2 signatures but we don’t have a control
over these in nativescript. Is there any way how we can control this?
Can someone please guide me?
