Sidekick iOS cloud build

#1

Hi,

I’ve imported an existing working nativescript project to sidekick, and I’m trying to run a cloud iOS build (I’m on windows). I’m using a .p12 certificate and a provisioning profile file, the same ones that we use in the original project in iTunes and Xcode.
These are the errors I am getting on build, can you please help?

Thanks,
Maria

Hey @tigrenok00,

Sorry you ran into problems here. At a glance it looks like Sidekick wants you to set a DEVELOPMENT_TEAM in your app/App_Resources/iOS/build.xcconfig file. Off the top of my head I’m not sure how Sidekick handles that.

@TodorTotev > Can you have someone from your team take a look here?

Hi guys, any news here?
@tjvantoll @TodorTotev
Thanks!

Up… still hoping for any response before we give up on Sidekick :frowning:

I’m having the same problem with my application. To make sure that something basic worked, I created a new blank template and built with the iOS cloud build. That works just fine. It builds and install fine on my phone.

Any resolution to this problem?

Thanks!
Dan

Hello there I’m running exactly into the same issue, I have no clue what is going on, I compile the application without issues using my local build for android or cloud for android but ios fails, I’m building ios from linux without a device connected, does sidekick compile and create an ios application to be able to install it manually in my phone?? also I have the ARCHIVE FAILED of the death and I’m wondering how to trace this, apparently is one of the dependencies that maybe is not supported for ios compilations or something like that, I’m not sure about it.
Here is the output:

@TodorTotev

Any feedback on this? Running into the same problem. Initially I was advised that the assets generator was causing this as I uploaded an image that wasn’t square in dimensions. I uploaded a square image and that resolved the problem, initially.

Last night, on another project that has been working for months and the assets are correct, I suddenly received the error when trying to run on device, after having run it successfully multiple times last night before then. My assets are perfect. I have tried deleting them and creating them from scratch. Same issue, so not sure what the problem is - seriously frustrating though as I can’t continue without it being sorted.

Hi @delanick,

Please open an issue on GitHub and provide logs from Sidekick and your project’s package.json. This will enable the team to study the issue and try to reproduce it.
