Setting Gradle daemon max memory

android

#1

How do I configure the JVM max memory option passed to gradle?
I see that after running tns platform add android a gradle.properties file is created in <PROJECT_ROOT>/platforms/android and the file has this setting

org.gradle.jvmargs=-Xmx16384M

I appreciate that I could simply edit the file but it will be overwritten next time tns platform clean adnroid is run!

Thanks in advance.

You should not modify the auto generated files, try the one in your App_Resources/Android/app.gradle

You’re correct and I don’t want to modify the file exactly because it is autogenerated…

I did take a look at app.gradle, settings.gradle and settings.json but I don’t know if/how they help configure gradle daemon…

Hopefully there is a setting somewhere that tns platform add android uses - that’s what I am after.
