QRCode - Zxing plugin - Can't find variable: ZXBarcodeFormat

#1

Hi,
Im using this plugin with the latests {N} 4.1.
After installation, when using generic example i’m getting this error

file:///app/tns_modules/nativescript-zxing/zxing.js:123:70: JS ERROR ReferenceError: Can't find variable: ZXBarcodeFormat

I’ve tried to update tns_modules etc… But nothing seems to work.
Thanks for any help.

Its enough to reporuce by just uncluding this in JS:

var ZXing = require(‘nativescript-zxing’);

@NathanaelA any ideas here ? Cheers.

Have you tried:

  • tns platform clean ios
  • manually delete app off of phone
  • tns run ios

Hi,
Yes.
I’ve done this but the error exists…
I’m not doing anything special, just incuding your’s plugin, and this one line of code produces this issue still…

var ZXing = require(‘nativescript-zxing’);

I can just confirm that i’ve installed this plugin on another app. The issue also appear… This is the only plugin that has option to generate and thus is very important in Nativescript, can you please investigate ? Thanks.

Hi Guys,
Can anybody confirm this issue ?

@Konrad,

I have tested v1.5.6 (Just published a few minutes ago) with NS 4.1, and have updated the demo to work with NS 4.1 and both Android and iOS are working and building fine now.

Try it again…
