Is it possible to write a none ui native script app that can always live in the background? The app should be able to stop/start network access globally? Is that even allowed in android?
While you might succeed with that, NativeScript’s power is in writing code once to run it for both iOS and Android, and that is mainly in regards to the UI. You may not want the overhead of the NativeScript runtime in your Android application to run a simple service.
Instead, look up
Background Services and Service Applications in Android, to get you started.
Thank you for your response.
