Issue with splash screen sizing on android

When running my android app the splash screen is tiny in the middle of the screen rather than filling the screen

I have created the images in the different directories, all the correct size yet it seems to pick the wrong size image to display, seems to be okay on IOS

Anyone seen this before?

It might happen only when you have wrong sizes, try deleting platforms folder and rebuild. Also let’s know what you have in your splash_screen.xml?

thanks for your help, managed to fix it, issues with sizing not being exact AND the splash_screen.xml was night right
