Is it possible to register an Activity in a nativescript plugin?

Basically what I need to do is create an activity and then have my plugin be able to fire an intent to start this activity.

I have tried putting the following in the plugin manifest

    <application
      android:largeHeap="true">
		<activity
			android:name="de.xxx.Activity"
			android:label="@string/title_activity_kimera"
			android:configChanges="keyboardHidden|orientation|screenSize">

				<intent-filter>
				<action android:name="de.xxx.SCAN" />
				<category android:name="android.intent.category.DEFAULT" />
			</intent-filter>
		</activity>

	</application>

And I have the requisite class

@JavaProxy("de.xxx.Activity")
class Activity extends android.app.Activity {

However when I launch my intent I get an error saying that there was no activity found to handle the intent :frowning:

I am doing it over here, custom activity, drop it in the plugins platform folder, fire up the intent
