iOS App doesn't start

#1

Hi,

when I run “tns run ios”, the app compiles and is transferred successfully, but it doesn’t start properly on the VD. All I see is a black screen and then it returns back to home screen. I cannot see any errors? When I run “tns doctor”, then everything is up to date. How can I localize the problem?

I am getting the same error. I can run my Angular/TS HelloWorld app on my Android virtual device without a problem, but the iOS build crashes on load. I see the NativeScript logo on screen for some time, then it reverts back to the home screen without any errors in the watch console.

My system.log shows the following:

tns doctor also reports: "No issues were detected."
I get the exact same error whether I run from the command line, or run on a brand new project using Nativescript Sidekick and clicking “Run on this device” in the GUI.

Good news, it seems to be working now. I didn’t really change anything, just restarted XCode and Simulator and played with some different devices (iPhone 7 11.2 instead of iPhone X). I’m looking at a spinning apple in iOS. Cheers.

I’ve tried different platforms and different devices but it didn’t work :frowning: i do not see any errors and already have deleted and recompiled the platforms folder…
