Icon fonts how to style it?

#1

Hi, finally i got the icon fonts working with the ionicons (which is from Ionic v3).
I have the code like this, and looking fine on iOS.

<ActionItem (tap)="openDrawer()">
    <Label [text]="'menu' | fonticons" class="icon"></Label>
  </ActionItem>

my css for .icon is pretty simple

.icon {
  font-family: 'Ionicons';
  font-size: 28px;
}

now. why does it look so ugly on Android? and do i need extra styling on this?
another thing is… i see in the document that you guys are using lots of m-5 m-10 CSS classes…
If someone can guide me where i can see the documents for those helper css classes that would be great.
